Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To mount easily a magnet piece on a roll surface and to measure stably and continuously the temp. of a moving billet, by attracting magnetically the magnet piece onto the roll surface and embedding the magnet piece into the moving billet by the rolling and pressing force of the roll. CONSTITUTION:A magnet piece 2 provided successively with the front end of a temp. measuring means 1 is magnetically attracted by a suitable method to the optional position on the surface of a roll 5 in press contact with a moving billet 4 and the means 1 is delivered in follow-up to the rotation of the roll 5. The piece 2 is embedded surely in the billet 4 by the rolling and pressing force of the roll 5 and the temp. of the billet is measured continuously. The need for any costly mounting device is thus eliminated and the magnet piece is surely mounted with the safe and easy job.
