Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To prevent the seizure of a reduction gear from being produced due to the racing of a propeller and make it possible to mount a lubricating pump oil even on any of the right and left axial systems by driving said pump on rather a propeller side than a clutch side and symmetrically arranging a lubricating oil pump mounting seat with respect to a driving shaft. CONSTITUTION:A lubricating oil pump 15 mounted on a reduction gear casing 17 is driven by a gear 44 interlocked with a propeller shaft, and a mounting seat 46 for the lubricating oil pump is made axially symmetrical with respect to a driving shaft 47a. Hereby, it is made possible to lubricate the reduction gear even when the propeller is subjected to a racing due to towing operation, thus enabling the seizure of the reduction gear to be prevented. Moreover, since the seat 46 is made symmetrical, the direction of a pump discharge pipe can be made the same even if the pump is mounted on any of right and left shaft systems.
