DUST DISCHARGING DEVICE OF DUST COLLECTOR FOR BLAST FURNACE GAS

PURPOSE:To discharge dust automatically and continuously, by blowing an inert gas into the dust settled at the primary dust collection of a blast furnace gas, to fliudize the dust. CONSTITUTION:The dust contained in a gas generated from the top of a blast furnace 2 is primarily collected by a gravity settling type dust collector 4. The bottom end of a dust depositing part 16 at the bottom of the collector 4 is usually closed. The deposited dust 18 is fluidized by blowing an inert gas supplied from a gas source 36 into the dust 18 through a blowing pipe 34. The fluidized dust 18 is sent to a hopper 48 in which the dust is temporarily stored. The weight of the received dust 18 is measured by a gravimeter 58 and, the dust is conveyed by a powder conveying device such as a air slide car by opening a valve 60 when the dust is accumulated to a prescribed quantity.
