INDICATION PROCESSING SYSTEM OF INITIAL PROGRAM LOADING EQUIPMENT ITEM NUMBER

PURPOSE:To improve operativity and to eliminate an operation error by providing name displays corresponding to plural programs, an initial program loading equipment item number storage part stored with bus addresses, and its selecting part and transmitting part. CONSTITUTION:An execution control part 13 is activated by an operator's initial program loading (IPL) indication to inform an operator of the result of IPL through a result display part 14. Then, an indication of an equipment item number selection is sent to the equipment item number selecting part 19 and an equipment item number corresponding to the stack pointer is read out of the equipment item number storage part 5 and sent out to the equipment item number sending part 15. The sending part 15 holds and sends the IPL equipment item number and equipment item number data from an equipment item number accepting part 17 to an equipment item number display part 16, and also sends a channel (CH) number, etc., to a CPU8. When a registration indication is received, the IPL equipment item number is read and written in the equipment item number storage part 5 at a corresponding location.
