Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To form the easy magnetization axes of secondary recrystallization grains in alignment to a rolling direction and improve anisotropic magnetic characteristics by adding specific elements to an Fe-Cr-Co type magnet alloy and applying cold rolling and high temp. annealing after casting. CONSTITUTION:1 or >=2 kinds selected from the group consisting of Te, Ag, Au, Sb, Se, Pb are added at 0.005-1.0wt% to an Fe-Cr-Co type magnet alloy contg. 20-31wt% Cr and 6-24wt% Co. After a plate material of this magnet alloy is cold-rolled, it is annealed at above 1,000 deg.C, thereby allowing secondary recrystallization to take place. Following to this, it is further hardened from 1,000-1,300 deg.C temps., and is thereby solution-heat-treated, after which it is subjected to constant temp. heat treatment at around 630-700 deg.C and aging treatment at around 600 deg.C in a magnetic field to have aggregate structure wherein easy magnetization axes [001] are aligned in the rolling direction, whereby the magnet having extremely high anisotropic magnetic characteristics is obtained.
