Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To curtail electric power for a cooling blower without injuring the quality and productivity of sintered ore, in cooling high-temp. sintered ore discharged from a sintering machine with a cooler, by cooling the sintered ore below a specified temp. with misty air. CONSTITUTION:High-temp. sintered ore discharged from a sintering machine 1 is charged in the charging site 11 of a cooler 2. The cooler 2 is constituted by a gutter 3 for a main body, a trough, a driver means 5, a cover 6 for the trough, an exhaust duct 7, a blower 8, and charging and discharging means. The sintered ore charged in predetermined thickness onto an air-permeable plate 41 at the bottom of the trough is cooled with cool air, carried by the trough being rotationally driven and cooled below 300 deg.C between branched pipes 7310 and 7319. Hereon, by cooling the sintered ore with misty air through nozzles 13 at eight points (121-128), for instance, an airflow amount from the blower 8 is reduced.
