Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To safely control combustion in a continous annealing oven with the low ratio of residual O2, by subjecting systems for controlling the flow rate of fuel gas and the pressure of exhaust gas to restrictions on the basis of detection signals from detectors for detecting the pressure of exhaust gas and the flow rate of fuel gas, respectively. CONSTITUTION:In the combustion zone 1 of a continuous annealing oven using a suction pressure-type radiant tube 2, a signal from a temp. detector 3 is inputted to a regulator 4 for controlling the in-oven temp. A signal from a detector 5 for detecting the pressure of exhaust gas (b) is used in an arithmetic unit 7 to correct the temp. and in an arithmetic unit 8 for calculating the optimum flow rate of fuel gas (a) to perform the calculation, compared with a signal from the regulator 4 in a selector 9 to choose a lower one and then handled as a setting signal for a regulator 10 for controlling the flow rate of fuel gas. On the other hand, the higher one is selected from the signals from the regulator 4 and a detector 12 for detecting the flow rate of fuel gas by a selector 13 and handled as a setting signal for a regulator 16 for controlling the pressure of exhaust gas (b). Against external disturbance, the system for controlling the flow rate of fuel gas is subjected to restriction on the basis of the detection signal from the detector 5, while the system for controlling the pressure of exhaust gas is subjected to restriction on the basis of the detection signal from the detector 12.
