Zusammenfassung: | PURPOSE:To obtain an image synthesized from an optical image and a thermally formed image, by using an electrophotographic receptor having retentive photoconductivity and thermoreleasability. CONSTITUTION:A photoreceptor 1 consisting of zinc oxide, titanium dioxide, polyvinylcarbazole, etc. is exposed to the optical image of a format original through a lens system 2, resulting in lowering the electric conductivity of its light parts. Then, character information or the like is recorded with a thermal head 3 on the receptor 1, resulting in restoring the resistance of the receptor to the initial state and raising the resistivity at said light parts. The latent image of the optical image and the thermally formed image thus synthesized is developed with a developing device 4 having a conductive or semiconductive toner. The high resistance parts of the receptor 1 are charged with bias 5 and the toner attaches to the high resistance parts, but not to the low resistance parts. The toner image is transferred to paper 9 with a transfer device 6. The photoreceptor 1 is restored to the initial state with a restoration charger 10 and a destaticizer 11. |
