Zusammenfassung:	NEW MATERIAL:The bisbenzofuran derivative of formula I (R1 is H or halogen; R2 and R3 are alkyl or together with N form pyrrolidino, piperidino or morpholino; Y is CO, CH2, or CHOH; m is 1-3; n is 1 or 2; provided that R1 and the substituted aminoalkyloxy are substituted at arbitrary sites in 4,5,6 and 7 sites of the benzofuran ring), its N-oxide and their acid addition salt. EXAMPLE:Bis(6-beta-dimethylaminoethoxy-2-benzofuranyl)ketone. USE:A drug having antiviral, interferon-inducing and antitumor activites. PREPARATION:The compound of formula I is prepared by condensing the bisbenzofuran derivative of formula II with the substituted aminoalkyl halide of formula III (X is halogen) or its hydrochloride.
