MANUFACTURE OF INCENSE STICK FOR BUDDA AND AIR- PERMEATING DRYING PLATE FOR MANUFACTURING SAID STICK

PURPOSE:To manufacture incense stick for Budda having excellent ignitability, in a short time, facilitating the handling in the drying step, by using an air- permeable drying plate composed of a frame, a ring-shaped cloth stretched on said frame, and counter-edge tables attached to the opposite sides of the frame. CONSTITUTION:A frame 3 is inserted into a ring-shaped cloth 2 made of rough cloth, metal mesh, etc., and the supporting frame part 5 is adjusted with the tension-control nut 6 to stretch the cloth 2 in the form of a plane. The counter-edge table 8 and the corner block 9 are attached to the frame 5. The raw material of incense stick kneaded with water is extruded in the form of parallel strips on the air-permeable drying plate prepared above along the longitudinal direction of the plate, and both ends of the strips are cut by pressing the edges 10 against the counter-edge tables 8. A number of the drying plates supporting a long wet incense sticks A are stacked in a state of being separated from each other by the corner block 9, and the sticks are dried. The dried sticks are transferred to the conveyor belt, cut to a definite length during the transfer, and bound to obtain the final product.
