Zusammenfassung: | PURPOSE:To obtain an excellent vertical magnetic recording medium by forming an anodized film having many fine pores within a specific pore size range on the surface of Al (alloy) and packing Fe or an Fe-Co-Ni alloy contg. Fe at a specific ratio or above in the fine pores thereby forming the film having the film thickness within a specific range. CONSTITUTION:A thin sheet of Al or an Al alloy is anodized and is then immersed in a soln. mixture composed of a sulfamic acid and phosphoric acid to form an anodized film having fine pores in a 300-750Angstrom pore size range on the surface to 0.5-3mu thickness. Said film is then subjected to electrolytic deposition in an aq. soln. of a magnetic metallic salt of Fe, Co or Ni by using asymmetric AC to deposit Fe or an Fe-Ni or Fe-Co, Fe-Ni-Co alloy contg. >=50wt% Fe. A magnetic medium of which the coercive force in the direction perpendicular to the film plane is 400-1,500 Oe, and which has the easy magnetization direction in the direction perpendicular to the film plane, permits high density recording and has good reproduced output is thus obtd. |
