TAPE RECORDER

PURPOSE:To obtain a sound recording equalizer characteristic conforming with a sound recording tape characteristic by using a high band adjusting circuit of a tone controlling circuit, for adjusting a frequency characteristic of a sound recording equalizer at the time of sound recording. CONSTITUTION:A sound recording and reproducing changeover switch S1 is switched to an R side, and a sound recording source is selected by an input selecting switch S2, inputted to a sound recording amplifier 3, supplied to a sound recording and reproducing head 1 and sound-recorded in a tape. A sound source signal is supplied to an input of the sound recording amplifier 3 through a high band adjusting circuit 4 of a tone controlling circuit, therefore, a frequency characteristic of a sound recording equalizer can be varied by adjusting the high band adjusting circuit 4, and a frequency characteristic of the sound recording equalizer conforming with a sound recording tape characteristic can be obtained.
