Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:The titled composition that is obtained by adding specific amounts of a specific inorganic hydrate, antimony trioxide and magnesium carbonate to a polyolefin resin, thus being free from the formation of toxic gases on fire, because it contains no halogen flame retarders, with less reduction in mechanical strength. CONSTITUTION:(A) 100pts.wt. of a polyolefin resin, (B) 10-200pts.wt. of aluminum hydroxide and/or magnesium hydroxide, (C) 10-50pts.wt. of antimony trioxide and (D) 5-50pts.wt. of magnesium carbonate are combined to give the objective composition.
