AUTOMATIC WAREHOUSE AND ITS USING METHOD

PURPOSE:To effectively utilize the space in a warehouse proper by immediately supplying goods from a flat shelf section when unit goods are lacking in a rotary shelf section and again returning excessive goods to the flat shelf section. CONSTITUTION:When containers 9 are to be shifted and supplied from a flat shelf section to a rotary shelf section 3, a pallet 4 mounted with collected goods 9' composed of containers 9 stacked in 3 layers of 3 lines each is shifted to a conveyor 8b by a stacker crane 7. Next, the containers 9 on the pallet 4 are shifted from the pallet 4 onto a conveyor 15 by the hand until of an industrial robot 16 one by one, and the containers 9 are supplied and stored in each tray 10 of the second storage bin 12 of the rotary shelf section 3. On the contrary, when the containrs 9 are to be returned from the rotary shelf section 3 to the flat shelf section, after multiple containers 9 stored in the second storage bin 12 are loaded on the pallet 4 by the robot 16, the pallet 4 is again stored in the shelf section of the first storage bin of the flat shelf section.
