MOTOR FAN

PURPOSE:To simplify the manufacturing of a motor fan to reduce the cost thereof, by integrally forming a motor housing and a fan shroud stay section. CONSTITUTION:A drive shaft 14 which is secured thereof with a rotor 20 and commutator 22, is incorporated in a front housing 17 by means of a bearing 16, and a fan 2 is fitted onto the front end of the drive shaft 14 which is projected from the front housing 17 and is locked thereto by a lock 15. Meanwhile another bearing 16 and a brush 21 are secured to a rear housing 18, and a retainer ring 14 to which a magnet 24 is secured is wedged into the inner surface of a housing 23 integrally formed with a fan shroud 4. Further covers 17, 18 are positioned at both ends of the retainer ring 25, and then are fastened to the latter by means of screws 26, 27. With this arrangement, the incorporations of the fan 2 and the fan shroud 4 may be simultaneously made.
