STRIP CARRYING DEVICE

PURPOSE:To prevent vertical oscillation of a strip by providing a strip guiding means that runs circulating along a pair of left and right guides provided above and below a carrying rollers in a hot run table etc. that carries a strip. CONSTITUTION:Prural rollers 1 are arranged continuously parallel to each other separated at a specified pitch to form a carrying face T of a strip (sheet) 2, and rotated. A pair of left and right guides 4, 5 are provided above and below the rollers 1 and plate guiding means 6, 7 that guide the sheet 2 are provided in each of the guides. The guide 4 is made to caterpillarlike form having linear parts 4a in the upper and lower parts, and the guide 5 has linear parts 5a in the upper and lower parts, and formed to caterpillarlike form having a turning device 8. When starting rolling, the means 6, 7 are at stand-by position, and when the sheet 2 comes out, the means 7 starts running and accelerated to a specified speed by an accelerating conveyor 9, and sent out to a part along the face T. At this time, the tip of the sheet 2 runs on the upper face of the means 7. At the same time, the means 6 holds the sheet 2 synchronizing with passing speed, and the tip of the sheet 2 is guided in the direction A of passing. Meanwhile, the plate 2 is cooled.
