Zusammenfassung: | PURPOSE:To obtain an optical signal generator which generates optical signals having small distortions over a wide frequency range, by converting electric signals into optical signals after amplifying the electric signals with a controllable amplifier and controlling the amplifier with error signals generated when a part of the optical signals has been detected by a photodetector. CONSTITUTION:An electric input signal UE is given to the antiphase input of a wide band amplifier V1 and a control signal S1 is given to the in-phase input. The output of the amplifier V1 is inputted into a laser diode L through an amplification degree corrector V2 designed as a multiplying element. The diode L converts the inputted electric signal into an optical signal and outputs the optical signal as a main light HS. A small part of the main light HS is turned in its direction by a glass plate 1 and given to a photodiode F as a control beam KS. An electric signal converted at the photodiode F is connected to an input E through a variable resistance R and delay line VZ and, at the same time, to the antiphase input of an amplifier RV for adjusting gain. An error signal FS generated at the photodiode F is amplified by the amplifier RV and fed back as the control signal S1 of the amplifier V1. By the control signal S1, the main light HS is controlled so that the light HS can have a linear connecting relation with the signal UE through the amplifier V1. |
