MAGNETIC HEAD

PURPOSE:To facilitate assembling a head by providing a through hole in an insulating thin plate and providing a spiral conductor layer having the through hole as the center on the thin plate and inserting a core to the through hole of the insulating thin plate to constitute the head. CONSTITUTION:The head consists of a magnetic core 1 and a winding part 3 consisting of a flexible print board connected to this magnetic core 1. The core 1 has a left half 1a and a right half 1b joined and is provided with a gap 4 for recording or reproducing. The winding part 3 is provided with through holes 6 in an insulating flexible thin plate 5 and is provided with a conductor layer to be a winding and is joined to the core 1 by through holes 6. A conductor layer 8 on a surface 7 is provided spirally with through holes 6 as the center. When a current is flowed to conductor layers 8 and 10, the current is flowed clockwise in the first and the third folded parts 5a and 5c and is flowed counterclockwise in the second and the fourth folded parts 5b and 5d. However, if the thin plate 5 is folded and the direction of the current is seen from the same direction, the current is flowed in the same direction.
