ENCLOSED TYPE MOTOR COMPRESSOR

PURPOSE:To check a reduction in the quantity of lubricating oil to the fewest possible extent, by having the upper end of a diaphragm, halving a compressor into an enclosed case side and a motor element side, attached to the inside of the enclosed case and the lower part immersed in the lubricating oil. CONSTITUTION:The lower end of a diaphragm, whose section is in arcing form, installed in a clearance 17 where a notch part made on the outer circumference of a stator core part 2a of a motor element 2 is formed between inner walls of an enclosed case 1 is immersed under a lubricating oil level, while the upper end is installed so as to be open to the inside of the upper void chamber port of the enclosed case 1. An oil return passage 19 is formed outside by means of the enclosed case 1 and the diaphragm 18, while the clearance 17 to serve as a gas passage is formed at the inside. Light refrigerating gas is discharged out of a discharge pipe 15 but a portion of lubricating oil is blown off to the inner wall surface of the case 1 by dint of centrifugal force and then turned back to the inner bottom of the case 1 by way of the oil return passage 19.
