PURPOSE:To enhance beautifulness of appearance by a method wherein the frame of an automotive seat is molded from resin, and metal connectors for connecting a bottom frame with a back frame can be fitted on the inner side of lateral walls of the frame. CONSTITUTION:The frame of the automotive seat 1 consists of the bottom frame 3 and the back frame 6 which are both made of plastic. On the inner side of the lateral walls 3d, 3e constituting an outer casing of the bottom frame 3, vertical walls 21, 22 are formed as one body with the lateral walls 3d, 3e respectively, with a preset spacing 20 therebetween. Further, the metal connectors 10, 13 for connecting the bottom frame 3 with the back frame 6 are placed within the spacings 20 and fitted to the vertical walls 21, 22, respectively. Since the metal connectors 10, 13 are fitted on the inner side of the lateral walls 3d, 3e, of the frame 3 and on the inner side of the frame 6, the connectors 10, 13 are perfectly prevented from exposure to the outer side and an operating knob 14 for a reclining mechanism of the connector 10 can be fitted to the lateral wall 3d, whereby the beautifulness of appearance and safety can be enhanced.
