PAPER FEEDER FOR COPYING MACHINE

PURPOSE:To easily remove a jammed paper, by providing such an arrangement that paper-jamming which occurs in press-contact parts between a paper feed roll and a delivery pad or in press-contact parts between carrier rolls and pinch rolls is eliminated in such a way that a lever is turned so that the contact parts are separated. CONSTITUTION:When papers 119 are stored in a paper storing case 112, the paper storing case 112 is pulled out in the direction C, and the papers 119 are stored in the storing case 112. Thereafter, the storing case 112 is loaded into a copying machine, and is locked by turning a knob 110. When a paper roll 16 is rotated, the paper 199 is transferred in the direction A. For example, if the paper 199 is jammed between carrier rolls 14 and pinch rolls 13 or between the paper feed roll 16 and the pad 15, a first shaft 122 is pushed upward by turning a lever 17 in the direction E so that the rolls 13 are separated from the rolls 14, thereby the jammed paper may be easily removed. Further, when the lever 17 is turned in the direction E, the pad 15 is separated from the roll 16.
