Zusammenfassung:NEW MATERIAL:A selenium-containing compound shown by the formula I or formula II(A is group shown by the formula III, or formula IV; R and R2 are aryl, or alkyl) or its salt. EXAMPLE:4-Methyl-3-phenylcarbamoyl-1,2,5-selenodiazole. USE:A low toxic carcinostatic agent having improved action on Ehrlich ascites carcinoma. PROCESS:A compound shown by the formula V is reacted with selenium dioxide preferably in the presence of a solvent such as dioxane, etc. to give a compound shown by the formula I or formula II. The reaction temperature is preferably 50 deg.C- the boiling point of the reaction mixture, and the reaction finishes usually about an hour.
