Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To provide the titled ink composition having excellent resistance to scumming, prepared by gelation of a base ink with a specified organic calcium compd. and/or a specified organic zinc compd. CONSTITUTION:Used as gelling agent is at least one compd. selected from among calcium (or zinc) salts of 1-40C mono- (or di-) carboxylic acids (e.g. calcium stearate or zinc stearate) and organic zinc compd. of the formula (where R is 1-5C alkyl; R' is 1-20C alkyl) (e.g. zinc acetylacetonate). The gelling agent is added in an amount of 0.1-10wt% to a composition consisting of vehicle (e.g. rosin-modified phenolic resin), colorant, dispersant, solvent, etc., followed by mixing at room temperature -250 deg.C for 10-30min. The resultant gel varnish is kneaded between rollers, etc. to obtain the ink composition.
