ELECTROLYTIC NICKEL FLAKE AND ITS PREPARATION

PURPOSE:To simply, easily and produce at low cost electrolytic Ni falke, by electrolyzing an electrolytic Ni solution to which a relatively large amount of an organic secondary brightener for bright Ni plating is added, and then exfoliatingly recovering an Ni electrodeposit from the surface of a cathode. CONSTITUTION:Electrolysis is performed in an electrolytic Ni solution to which one or more of organic secondary brighteners for bright Ni plating are added in a total amount of 0.1-10.0g/l. Hence, cracks are formed in an Ni electrodeposit formed on a cathode, so that the Ni electrodeposit can be exfoliatingly recovered in a flaked state. The size and thickness of said falke can be discretionarily changed by properly selecting the condition of electrolysis, and there is no possibility of the inclusion of impurities or oxidation.
