Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To provide a pigment compsn. having excellent dispersibility, handleability, etc., by bringing the water content of a wet pigment cake to a low level while retaining pigment form and non-agglomeration state intact. CONSTITUTION:The titled pigment compsn. contg. a pigment and water is obtd. by bringing the water content of a wet pigment cake to a level of 2-19wt% while retaining pigment form and non-agglomeration state intact. Tint, transparency, gloss and coloring power are comparable with those of the wet pigment cake and water content is low so that a dispersion having the desired high density can be obtd. and the pigment compsn. can be easily dispersed in dispersions such as resin, varnish, etc. without pre-dispersion. Handling, transportation, sacking and color mixing can be conducted in similar manners to those in powder and no dust is formed. Particularly, when the compsn. is used for the production of printing ink, a printing ink of good quality can be efficiently obtd. with low energy consumption in a short time.
