Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To obtain a substance for inhibiting secretion of acid in the stomach useful as an antiulcer, having quality of higher activity than a conventional substance, by dissolving a water-soluble benzoate in mammal urine, adjusting it to a proper pH to give a precipitate containing the substance for inhibiting secretion of acid in the stomach. CONSTITUTION:A water-soluble benzoate (e.g., Na salt of benzoate, ammonium salt of benzoate, etc.) is dissolved in mammal urine, and adjusted to =300,000 molecular weight, containing a saccharide and protein, and occurs especially in pregnant mammal urine in a large amount. This substance has more improved yield and specific activity than a conventional substance, and this process is excellent as an industrial preparation.
