EPROM DEVICE

PURPOSE:To realize a high-speed reading action by feeding the signal of a common data line back to a level limitter and the gate of an amplifying MOSFET after amplifying it and therefore increasing substantially the input signal amplitude of a sense amplifier. CONSTITUTION:Both signals of a common data line CD and a reference voltage Vr' are amplified and fed back to the gates of the MOSFETQ13 and Q15 as well as Q28 and Q30 respectively. For instance, the gate voltage of the MOSFET Q15 rises up to the high level side through an amplifying circuit A if the read signal of the line CD is set at a low level. Therefore the gate-source voltage of the Q15 is increased by the increment of the gate voltage, and the signal to be transmitted to a sense amplifier SA is increased to the low level side. On the contrary, the read signal is set at a high level and therefore the gate voltage of the Q15 is redaced to the low level side through the circuit A. As a result, the gate-source voltage of the Q15 is reduced by the decrement of the gate voltage. Then the signal to be transmitted to the amplifier SA is increased to the high level side.
