Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To form a driving part for driving the accessories of an engine without lengthening the overall length of an engine, by a method wherein the driving part for driving the accessories is mounted to a portion, having a space, of the cam shaft of an overhead cam shaft system V-engine. CONSTITUTION:A V-engine body 1 is formed such that banks 4 and 5, extending from a crank case 3 having a single crank shaft 2, are integrally formed in V-shape, and an oil pan 6 is installed below said case 3. An engine accessories 15 are attached to, for example, a bearing cap 16 of the crank shaft 2 so that it is located in a recess 6a in the oil pan 6. A driving part 17, including a worm gear 17A for driving the engine accessories 15, is located in a portion, having a space, between a coupling part 13A of a cam shaft 8 attached to the bank 5 and a cam IIa located nearmost thereto, which is produced due to that a crank pulley 10 and timing pulleys 12 and 13 are situated on the same plane.
