METHOD FOR PROCESSING COLOR PHOTOGRAPHIC SENSITIVE MATERIAL

PURPOSE:To form a color photographic image of high quality, to accelerate bleaching action, and to maintain stable performance for a long term by using a very limited isothiuronium salt deriv. as a bleaching accelerator. CONSTITUTION:A photosensitive silver halide material is developed with a color developing bath, it is processed with a bath contg. a compound represented by general formula I or a salt thereof, and bleaching or bleach fixing is carried out. In the formula, each of R1 and R2 is H or 1-5C alkyl, preferably methyl or ethyl, and at least one of them is alkyl. Said salt includes a strong acid salt such as hydrochloride, sulfate, p-toluenesulfonate or methane-sulfonate. The compound may be added to a bleaching bath or a bleach-fix bath and/or the preceding bath. The amount of the compound to be added depends on the kind of the processing soln., the kind of the photographic material to be processed, the processing temp. and the time required to carry out the desired processing.
