| Zusammenfassung: | PURPOSE:To obtain a cathode structure having excellent quality by providing a projection for positioning the lower end of filament on the lower end shield thereby stabilizing the filament strength. CONSTITUTION:The upper and lower ends of filament 1 are supported by upper and lower end shields 2 which are supported by center and side supports 3, 4. A projection 2a for positioning the lower end of filament 1 is formed on the lower end shield 2. The filament 1 is contacting continuously with the projection 2a to stabilize the fixing position. Consequently the fluctuation of filament strength is eliminated resulting in a cathode structure having stable quality. |
