EDDY CURRENT TYPE CURRENT METER

PURPOSE:To generate a lot of eddy currents with respect to a velocity of flow, and to raise sensitivity by providing the first magnetic material to which an energizing coil is wound and the second magnetic material to which a detecting coil is wound, and placing a nonmagnetic part between the first magnetic material and the second magnetic material. CONSTITUTION:An energizing coil 3 is placed in the center part, two detecting coils 4a, 4b are placed in both its sides, and an independent energizing coil use iron core 21, and detecting coil use iron cores 22a, 22b are provided on the respective coil center parts. A nonmagnetic spacer 23A and 23B are placed between the iron core 21 and the iron core 22a, and between the iron core 21 and the iron core 22b, respectively. This coil assembly is contained in a housing 1 made of SUS, whose tip is of a shell shape. Helium gas, etc. 8 which are inert and excellent in thermal conductivity are filled in the inside of the housing.
