FLICKERING PREVENTING METHOD OF PICTURE OF MOBILE BODY

PURPOSE:To prevent a picture of a mobile body from being flickered by decreasing the amount of information in the direction of time axis of picture information photographed by an electronic still camera. CONSTITUTION:The picture information photographed the mobile body, e.g., a picture signal of two consecutive fields where a black ball is moved from left to right on a white back ground, is stored in field memories 12 and 13. A memory control 11 transmits a reading command to the memories 12, 13 to read a picture signal. A mobile body detector 14 detects a mobile object part based on a picture signal outputted from the memories 12 and 13. A picture signal L1 from the memory 12 is used for a scanning line L1 and a substantial picture signal L2 from the memory 13 is used for background display up to a point A and after a point C as to a scanning line L2. The signal L1 read out from the memory 12 by means of changeover of a switching device 5 is used for the display of the mobile body part from the point A to the point C based on the detection of the detector 14.
