COUNTING PROCESS OF PAPER SHEET COUNTER

PURPOSE:To simplify the operation of an operator and to attain high efficiency for counting the process of a paper sheet counter by stopping the paper sheet feed operation when the coincidence is obtained between the sheet number set previously and the counted sheet number and then restarting the paper feed operation when the paper sheet is taken out after the counting process. CONSTITUTION:The bank notes are put on a stage 2 of the main body 1 of a paper sheet counter are sent one by one by a conveyor belt 3 to a store stage 23 which serves as the 2nd sheet store part within the main body 1. A counting roller 38, a counting switch 45, etc. are provided to the conveying path of the main body 1. A paper sheet number setting device is provided to an inside mechanism of the main body 1. A push-up plate 25 is driven when the coincidence is obtained between the set sheet number and the counted sheet number. Thus the feed of the notes is stopped. Then the feed of notes is restarted when the bank note on the stage 23 is taken out by a conveyor belt 21. This simplifies the operation of an operator and improves the sheet counting efficiency.
