PAGING SYSTEM BY MULTI-FUNCTION TELEPHONE SET

PURPOSE:To eliminate the need for exclusive use of paging by using a speaker of plural multi-function telephone sets after a caller makes a call by dialing a special number to attain voice calling, executing paging and performing paging response from an extension telephone set used by the caller. CONSTITUTION:Incoming highways HW0-HWn are connected to a multiplexer MPX of a time division exchange and a demultiplexer DMPX is connected to the multiplexer MPX via a speech bus memory SPM. A signal memory SM is provided between both the multiplexers MPX and DMPX, a signal distributor SRD is connected to the memory SM and the distributor SRD is connected to the memory SPM via a control memory CM. A main memory MM and a CPU are connected to the distributor SRD. Further, after the caller makes a call by dialing a specific number from a telephone set or a B board including a multi- function telephone set, the caller performs voice calling from the speaker, executes paging and the paging is responded by the extension telephone set used by the caller.
