The signal thereof is inputted to a control circuit 4 of a servocontrol motor 33 to actuate an actuating arm 32 having the fulcrum of a lever on a stationary arm 31, a coupling arm 38 coupling the arm 32 and the top end of a stopper 1 at the actuating point of the lever, and a mechanism 3 for adjusting the opening degree of the stopper connecting the top end of the arm 31 and the arm 38 by means of a restraining arm 39, by which the stopper 1 is finely and automatically adjusted in the position of the molten metal surface in the mold 5 and the molten steel surface in the mold 5 is maintained always at a specified position. |
