CONVERSATIONAL SCREEN GENERATING METHOD

PURPOSE:To facilitate the processing of graphic data by assigning a part of a screen to an editor area and generating and correcting characters in this editor area to improve the operability for correction when a character string is generated and displayed. CONSTITUTION:In case of generation of a character string, a part of the screen is assigned to the editor area, and characters are generated and corrected in this editor area, and thereafter, the character string in this editor area is moved to a desired position on the screen. For example, the first control signal for generation of the character string is inputted from an input device 2 to a display device 6 to form an editor area 6a. Next, a character string is inputted from the input device 2 to echo-display a string of characters 7a-7d in the editor area 6a; and then, if the input error of the character string is corrected, a cursor 8 for editor is moved, and the normal editor operation is performed. After the correction, the second control signal is inputted from the input device, and the character string is moved to a display position in a screen upper part 6b through a computer 3.
