Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To improve the capacity efficiency of a storage container by arranging a screw conveyor apparatus which can be moved vertically and horizontally, onto the ceiling part of a storage container which is slender on plane and has a nearly rectangular form and is used for storing powdery substance at an angle of repose. CONSTITUTION:A storage container has a nearly rectangular form slender on plane and has a nearly semicircular section, and a conveyor device 14 which extends in the longitudinal direction of the container is arranged at the nearly center part inside a ceiling part 10 formed into arch form is arranged. Said conveyor device 14 has a tripper 12 which permits bifurcated transfer and selection between branching and drop. Further, in said storage container, a pair of screw conveyor device 22 is installed, extending in the direction of whdth of the container, under the opened edge of the tripper 12. Each screw conveyor device 22 is suspended in free elevation through a wire rope 38 onto a ceiling traveling girder 36 which can travel along a rail 32 laid in the longitudinal direction of the ceiling part 10.
