Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To prepare the titled hemagglutinin, in high efficiency, by culturing Bordetella pertussis in a medium containing specific amounts of casamino acid, ascorbic acid and glutathione, and separating from the cultured product. CONSTITUTION:Bordetella pertussis is cultured in a medium (e.g. SS medium, SSB medium, SSA medium, etc.) containing 0.1-20g/l of casamino acid (hydrolyzed product of casein with an acid), 0.01-1g/l of ascorbic acid (vitamin C), 0.1-5g/l of glutathione (a kind of peptide existing in yeast, animal lever, muscle, etc.), and 0.001-5g/l of cyclodextrin or its derivative, at 30-38 deg.C for 10-100hr. The objective fibrous hemagglutinin (F-HA) is separated from the resultant cultured product. F-HA has participation in the initial defence to the infection with Bordetella pertussis.
