SWITCHING METHOD OF CONSOLE WORK STATION

PURPOSE:To reduce the number of operating devices and to attain an economical system structure by forming a switching device switching and connecting the operating device to a processor or control device connected to the host device. CONSTITUTION:A service processor (SVP) and a work station control (WSC) are connected to a host device and the operating device (OPS) 20-2 is connected to these SVP and WSC through the switching device (SW) 10. The SW10 is constituted by a switching part 12 switching the connection of the OPS20-2 with the SVP or WSC, a switching recognizing part 14 sending a switching signal 142 from the switching operation and a timer part 18 sending a connection signal 182 to reconnect a connection circuit 24b with a prescribed time delay by said signal 142. A logical part 26 in the OPS20-2 transmits/receives an information signal to/from the SVP or the WSC through the switching part 12 and the connection circuit 24b turns off the connection between a power supply circuit 24a and the logical part 26 by the switching signal 142 and turns off the connection by a connection signal 182.
