Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:The titled furniture that is made using adhesive and coating containing 1-ethynyl-2-methyl-2-pentenyl-2, 2-dimethyl-3-( 2'-methyl-1'-propenyl )-cyclopropane- 1-carboxylate. CONSTITUTION:The objective insect-repellent or insecticidal furniture for storage is made of materials which have been treated with an adhesive or coating containing (A) 1-ethynyl-2-methyl-2-pentenyl-2,2-dimethyl-3-(2'-methyl-1'-propenyl)-c yclopropane-1-carboxylate in an amount of 0.01-25wt%. The compound A has high vapor pressure and can develop very excellent insect-combatting effect by gasifying at room temperature. Moreover, it diffuses so slow that it exerts the initial level of action for a long period of time. The material is used in chests of drawers, wardrobe boxes, cupboards or book shelves.
