Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To obtain a magnetic recording medium having excellent dispersibility, durability, heat resistance, etc. of magnetic powder by incorporating dialkyl sulfosuccinate and a compd. having a perfluoroalkyl group and a polyalkylene oxide group in a molecule in a magnetic layer. CONSTITUTION:A magnetic layer incorporated therein with the dialkyl sulfosuccinate expressed by the formula (R1, R2 are hydrocarbon group of which 3-18C alkyl is more particularly preferable, M is a univalent metal such as Na or K) as a dispersant and further an org. fluorine compd. having a perfluoroalkyl group and a polyalkylene oxide group in a molecule as a lubricant respectively at 0.001-5pts.wt. by 100pts.wt. magnetic powder is provided on a base. The magnetic recording medium which is free from dislodging of the powder and the bleed-out of the dispersant and lubricant, obviates a decrease in the output and has excellent durability, etc. is thus obtd.
