PRESS DIE FOR BEND-WORKING MARGINAL PART OF ROOF PANEL PROVIDED WITH OPENING PART

PURPOSE:To obtain a press die which reduces the number of processes and the number of dies, by providing a mechanism for executing not only bend-working of the whole circumference of the opening marginal part of a roof panel but also bend-working of its front and rear edge parts. CONSTITUTION:A roof panel 2 which bends temporarily a marginal part 20 of an opening part 6 and its front and rear edge parts 27, 31 is placed on a die 1, and a punch 45 is made to descend. As the punch 45 descends, the edge part 20 of the opening part 6 is pressed by a formed face 21 and a formed face 8 of a fixed bend die 7, and bend-working for forming is executed. Also, a cam driver 63 of the punch 45 is engaged to a cam face 19 of a cam slider 16, and an edge part 11 is pressed by a formed face 10 of a movable bend punch 9 and a formed face 8 of the fixed bend die 7, and bend-working for forming is executed. Also, cam faces 55, 59 of movable bend punches 53, 58 of the punch 45 are made to press-contact with operating cam faces 29, 35 of cam blocks 30, 34 of the die 1, respectively, and the edge parts 27, 31 are formed to a prescribed shape, respectively, between formed faces 56, 60 and formed faces 28, 32.
