FORCED COOLING DEVICE OF HOT STEEL PLATE

PURPOSE:To enable an adjustment of cooling conditions, by constructing the insides of roll supporting beams, supporting respectively a pair of upper and lower rolls which press a hot steel plate from its upper and lower sides, to be as cooling water channels communicating to nozzle headers respectively. CONSTITUTION:A cooling device is furnished with plural pairs of rolls 2, 3 which press a hot steel plate 1 from its upper and lower sides and are arranged along the conveying direction of the plate 1, and also nozzle headers 4, 5 which are respectively disposed at the upper and lower parts of the plate 1 and are extended to the plate-width direction; many nozzles 6, 7 are provided along the longitudinal directions of the headers 4, 5 so as to face toward the plate surface. Further, roll supporting beams 10, 11, respectively supporting the upper and lower rolls of a pair of rolls 2, 3, are constructed to form cooling water channels 12, 13 communicating to the nozzle headers 4, 5, and the upper roll supporting frame 10 is connected to a lifting device 25.
