Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To obtain a light and thin liquid crystal display body superior in durability by comibining a polarizing plate with a film obtained by forming a transparent conductive thin film on the surface of a monoaxially stretched polymer sheet and using a pair of these combinations as transparent electrodes interposing liquid crystals between them. CONSTITUTION:A thin transparent conductive film 2 is formed on the surface of a molded polymer sheet 1 to form a transparent conductive film, and a pair of the obtained films are combined with each polarizing plate 5 to obtain a pair of transparent electrodes holding liquid crystals 4 between them. In this voltage impression type liquid crystal display body thus obtained, monoaxially stretched polymer films, preferably 50-500mum thick monoaxially polyester films, are used for the films 1, and a preferable film 2 is a thin film of indium oxide doped with a small amt. of tin oxide and a thin golden film, especially, the former film.
