Beschreibung
Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To obtain a titled cylinder liner having good sliding property with a piston and having high strength by charging the melt of flake graphite cast iron into the space between a casting mold for forming an inside circumferential surface and a casting mold for forming an outside circumferential surface, and charging the melt of flake graphite cast iron into the cylindrical space provided in the upper part between both casting molds. CONSTITUTION:A cylindrical casting mold 3 inscribing only the inside circumferential surface of a casting mold 2 is inserted between a casting mold 1 for forming the inside circumferential surface of a cylinder liner and the mold 2 for forming the outside circumferential surface thereof. The melt of flake graphite cast iron 4 is charged into the space 6 shown in the figure in this state. While the mold 3 is pulled out gradually with a crane 8 or the like in the state of the molten metal beginning to solidify, the melt of a high strength metal such as spheroidal graphite 5 or the like is cast into the space after the mold 3 is pulled out to fill gradually said space. As a result, the boundary surfaces between the cast iron 5 and the cast iron 4 are mingled with each other and the double layered cylinder liner consisting of the inside circumferential surface of the cast iron 4 having high sliding property and the outside circumferential surface in the flange forming part of the cast iron 5 having high strength is obtd.
