COLOR COPY DEVICE

PURPOSE:To improve the opening/closing accuracy of a holder and to maintain a highly reliable detection state for a long period of time, by detecting the tip position of the picture receiving paper through a pierced hole drilled on a drum and by a transmission system. CONSTITUTION:A holder 7 is pushed toward the outer circumference of a drum 8 against a spring 12 by a releasing means (not shown in the figure). Thus image receiving paper can be inserted. When the image receiving paper reaches the position shown by an alternate long and short dush line, light of a light emitting diode 9 is cut off by the image receiving paper. Then a photosensor 10 is actuated to shunt said releasing means, and the holder 7 is pulled toward the center of the drum shaft by the spring 12. Then the holder 7 is pressed onto the circumference of the drum 8 while holding the tip of the image receiving paper. Thus the image receiving paper is held.
