Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To provide the titled molding material having sound-proofing and vibration-proofing properties and improved mechanical strength, without lowering the moldability and dimensional accuracy, by adding titanium-containing iron sand to a molding material and molding the material. CONSTITUTION:The objective molding material can be obtained e.g. by coating the surface of a magnetite granule 1 containing titanium in sporadically dispersed form with titanium oxide 2 to obtain titanium iron sand 4 having irregularly rugged surface 3, adding the coated magnetite granules to a molding material consisting of a synthetic resin or synthetic rubber, etc. and kneading and molding the mixture.
