Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To accurately measure a glucose concn. regardless of the presence or absence of various bacteria, by correcting a measuring value on the basis of the consumption ratio of oxygen only by various bacteria by detecting the oxygen amount consumed only by said bacteria. CONSTITUTION:A glucose oxidase reagent is supplied to a measuring cell S and the signal from an oxygen concn. detector is inputted to an oxygen consumption ratio detecting circuit 1 while the attenuating ratio K of oxygen by various bacteria is detected to be outputted to a correction amount operating circuit 2. The operation circuit 2 multiplies this attenuation ratio K and the measuring time T of a glucose concn. operating circuit 3 to calculate the oxygen amount consumed during the analysis of a specimen solution by various bacteria to output the same to a correction circuit 4. In the next step, a specimen to be examined is injected in the measuring cell S thereof and the signal from a detector D is inputted to the glucose concn. operating circuit 3 to detect the oxygen concn. directly after the injection of the specimen to be examined. After a time T is elapsed from the point of time when the specimen to be examined is injected, the oxygen concn. in the measuring cell S again detected to calculate the oxygen amount reduced within this time to output the same to the correction circuit 4 which, in turn, subtracts the oxygen consumption amount by various bacteria from the obtained signal to output the same to a display apparatus 5.
