Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To reduce the crowdedness of the space among an engine, a fuel tank and a rear wheel, by placing an air cleaner beside a main pipe between a head pipe and the fuel tank above the engine. CONSTITUTION:An air cleaner 8 is mounted on a side of a main pipe 2 between a fuel tank 7 and a head pipe 1. A wind caused by the movement of a motorcycle and conducted by a wind guide plate 82a flows through a space under the bottom plate 71 of the fuel tank 7 and an air inlet port 84 and enters into the air cleaner 8. The air is then cleaned up through an element 83 and introduced into an engine through a communication port 85 and the main pipe 2. According to this constitution, the reduction in the capacity of the fuel tank is minimized and the air flow resistance and the spatial crowdedness are diminished.
