Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To produce an optional housing at a low cost without using any die by cutting a stock plate so as to have a developed shape of a housing, positioning and joining shape memory alloys to the prescribed sections thereof, and subjecting the same to a heating treatment to deform the alloys. CONSTITUTION:A stock plate 2 is manufactured according to the development of a housing and the folding parts shown by dotted lines are marked off. Shape memory alloy pieces 6 subjected to a prescribed memory treatment are adequately positioned and pasted to the respective folding parts of the plate 2. An object to be housed 7 is placed in the prescribed position of the plate 2 and is subjected to a heating treatment at about 70-80 deg.C so that the pieces 6 restore the preliminarily memorized shape. A housing 8 having a square shape is thus obtd. and working efficiency is improved.
